It’s Imlee.

Hey Hey!! How ya’ll doing ? I am as always juggling between my work and studies. Rains making it worse and my assignments taking forever to finish.. lol. Anyway, I am home again for a few days and trying to finish as much work as I can so that when I go back to Bombay I can concentrate on my studies.

Talking about this post, its a little different and and exciting. Born and bred in Jaipur, Rajasthan, I love the culture and heritage here. The Jaipur Mojris are a part of this culture. They are rich and ethnic. These beautiful pieces I am wearing here are from Imlee . The Mojris at Imlee are handcrafted. Each and every component used in it are exclusively designed and handcrafted. The fabrics used are dyed with special designs. The work/embroidery done is again designed and are authentic Zardozi, gotta patti and other rich handwork. Block, screen, graphic, all sorts of printing techniques are used. They have a range for men as well.

For those who love that contemporary twist, these guys have got you covered too. Mojris with leather panels, dabu and graphic prints are ethnic yet contemporary.  I am sure you can find a good fit for both wedding and workplace.

They have a website and are on Instagram as well. You can check out there website and get yourself some handcrafted love from Imlee.

Mayori- A conscious giving

So yeah its been really really long again and I haven’t posted anything. The last blog post was in November when I shifted back to Jaipur (my hometown) for like 4-5 months. This was because I didn’t really like the college I took admission in and had a lot of things going on and just wanted to go home and stay with my parents and sort out things mean while.

Now, its been five months that I am staying in Mumbai and doing my post graduation from FAD. Sooo yeah, moving on to the blog, its something different from what I have posted. The brand I talk about here is from Jaipur and they have some really good cotton wear. A must have for Jaipur weather. It is damn hot I tell you.  ‘Mayori- conscious giving’ is that special range where they are supporting sustainable fashion and also doing some great charity with every product sold.

Talking about the clothes- Its a lush cotton world. You have tops, dresses, kurtis, jackets, scarves, an array of products to choose from. All the clothes are anti wrinkle, with no shrinkage after wash. My favorite is the pocket that they have in all their garments which makes it really convenient for  a person like me who loses a thing each time I go out.

About ‘Conscious giving’, Mayori has tied up with an NGO to spread some love and give out a product on every product sold. Yes! One product given for charity on every product sold. So if you buy something you are giving an equally beautiful thing to the one who needs it more.

I hope you guys would love to contribute to this conscious giving and spread some love around. They are available online here Mayori and they have a beautiful store in Jaipur at C scheme.

They also put up exhibitions. For all the details you can follow them on Instagram at Mayorijaipur

Spread some love and good vibes. xx

DoYou.

Hello to everyone there. Hope everyone is doing fine. Its weekend and I am home again for sometime. I was in Mumbai for some work and also for this crazy crazy Puma DoYou event and OMG this has been one of the best events I have been to. I mean so many beautiful ladies all around, wearing the same color, having the same enthusiasm. This DoYou event was organised by Puma at the gio gardens in Mumbai. It was not like any other event. It was a huge event, like another level. We all were there to break and create a new WORLD RECORD!!!!! Sounds amazing right ? I know. It was amazing indeed.

As I said the event was about creating a record where the most number of women would hold the abdominal plank for 1 min together. Each and everyone of us had to first give a test if we can hold the plank or not and yes I passed haha.. we then had some really fun activities. Zumba was the craziest and favorite too. I just loved the zumba session. So refreshing and energizing. Also, the live band there was adding up the whole crazy environment. It was all so good. And the best part is that we were able to make the record in our First attempt!!!

We had Jacqueline, Kalki, Sakshi Malik ( Olympic Bronze medalist), Malishka, Shibani, Ujjwala and many other women achievers to encourage us. Since its been only a few months I had no one to go along with and was upset over having no company at such a huge event, but guess what, I met two very amazing people there. Both not from Mumbai. We guys had a grrreat time there. The live band, zumba, Malishka’s talking, food and everything made the event super alive and awesome.

I absolutely loved the idea of spreading awareness about fitness and creating a Guinness World Record. t actually felt so good. Being a part of such a huge movement. Puma also gave us this funky tank top, a shopping voucher and most important thing to cherish is a Guinness world record certificate. Yayyy!!!  I hope you guys will get the feel through these pictures that I have put.

Lots ofLove. xox

Alter my Ego. Twice.

Maxi, sunglasses, clutch, earings and belt- Alter ego

Hi Hi Hollaaa… How ya’ll doing ? I hope the good. Its been months and I have’t updated anything here, why is that ? Its because there is soooo much going on right now. The biggest change is that I have shifted to Mumbai now (yayaayy!!!!!) for my masters program. The city is crazy and is treating me good I’ll say but I miss My Pink city big time. I do feel home sick but then I have so much work there that keeps me busy and I doze off all exhausted. I shifted there on 11th august and this is the 2 time I have come home for vacation (lol), and this time for a whole month <3 <3. Since its Diwali I thought of staying back and work on my blog and do what I love the most.

Also its winter coming and I cant even explain my love for winter. Though I’ll be in Mumbai and there its almost like no winters. So anyway, I have so much to share that it might take 2-3 blog stories to write down all of it. On that note let’s talk about the outfits.

So those of you who follow me on Instagram have already seen most of these pictures since I did these shoots like long back. But since the outfits are so sexy I thought of doing a blog post. I did this shoot before going for a vacation with my friends to guess where ? Mumbai hahaah… I had to shoot this maxi twice because I forgot wearing  that belt which actually made a huge difference. Like the whole outfit looked 10 times better with the belt. Like just adding life to it.

Also I am wearing these two maxis from Alter Ego. They have a store in Jaipur and in Indore. There collection is crazy and like super super trendy. You’ll find everything which is in fashion and I love the quality too. And not to miss on the half moon black bag that I am carrying. Looks just fine and adds to the edgy-ness ( if that makes sense) of the whole look. If you ever visit Jaipur or Indore don’t forget to check out their store.

So the first look is more on sexier side. I just love this maxi and the neck tie is killer. Gives you that Hollywood feel bro.

Hope you’ll like the pictures. Leave your suggestions and your love in the comments section. More Love to you guys. And a very Happy Diwali you all. Lots of love and luck. xoxo
